When one is spiritually or emotionally unhealthy, it will definitely affect his physical well being and become sick. Our spiritual health as well as our physical health is affected by our fears, negative thoughts, anger, resentment, or abnormal amounts of stress. Even ministers and alternative health experts would tell you that if you have poor spiritual or emotional health, then it would results to poor physical well being. The belief that your physical well being is linked to your spiritual or emotion health is already gaining following.

These are the fruits of the spirit. If you fill your heart overflowing with these and open the door to God’s healing light, you filter out the emotional that keep you spiritually dark that causes physical illness.
If you are surrounded by many problems, then you can face these problems if you have good spiritual health. Even during the uneventful times in your life you should keep your faith in God so that you will be stronger when the time comes when you circumstances and health are challenged.
The best methods for maintaining and staying spiritually healthy are meditation, prayer, deep breathing, reading the Bible and other good readings, and spending time in nature. Emotional health and well being are promoted by all these activities. Bad emotions like fear, anger, and bitterness can be overcome if you do these activities regularly. Reading the Bible helps us to focus on the love and faithfulness of God, which puts negative emotions out of your heart.
